Excel bad for lawns?

Hello
I found a dead patch in my lawn, about 3í in diameter. Itís a mystery, except that I may have dumped my water change there once.

I have a biocube 8 that I dose with Excel and Flourish. The Excel is dosed at 1mL every other day. Iíve read that the Excel is a bit of an algaecide, but could it affect turf grass at such small concentrations?

Thanks
Gabe

unlikely

I'd sooner suspect a creature tinkled. Female dogs are notorious for leaving dead spots.

I don't use excel much but I assume you aren't dumping a freshly dosed tank. I often water my house plants with old fish tank water. They love it.

Iíd agree with the creature, but a 3 ft circle would need a pretty big creature!

It must be other than the Excel then, and just a coincidence. Thanks for the quick reply.

mop bucket? Japanese beetle grubs?

I have horses so a 3 ft circle is possible however I admit to reading that as inches.
