I went through several lily pipes before I found a combo I liked for my shallow UNS tank (10 gallon). I started with a spin pipe. Perfect if you don't want a lot of current. For my purposes, it diffused the current too much and I had a dead spot in the opposite corner of my tank. I tried then tried a standard jet style. Too much current. I finally settled on a poppy style Jardli mini pipe. Just enough flow for my purposes when paired with an Eheim 2213.

Have you considered a Waterbox all in one tank? They have a 7 gallon that has been discontinued and can be found on clearance online.

Just wanted to let everyone know:
I went with:
tank: Landen 45P 10.7 Gallon Rimless Low Iron Aquarium Tank, 17.7" L ◊ 10.6" W ◊ 11.8" H (45cm x 27cm x 30cm) 5mm thickness with Nano Foam Leveling Mat 111003
glass: JARDLI Glass Mini Lily Pipe Violet (they were sold out of other styles). I did by matching intake.
filter: ZOO MED LABORATORIES INC- 15 gallon canister filter... I guess we will sew how it works. Mpnday ut all comes, and ill cycling it to determine if i need a different setup with flow.

Still need to determine the lighting.
I dont want the 'blue white' light.
