Want to get back into planted tanks- 10 gallon

So it has been a while, but I am ready for another planted tank. I had 8 tanks at one point and when I moved that number has gone down to a 40 gallon with cichlids that will destroy anything I put in there and a 10 gallon I had in storage that Iím ready to setup a beautiful planted tank again. Iím a little rusty, so I need some suggestions.

The only plant I know for sure I want to grow is dwarf baby tears as they are absolutely stunning! So I am going to choose other plants that will do well with them. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a light that will meet the requirements of these guys?

Also, Iíve read they do better with CO2 injection. I have done a DIY setup in the past with a 10 gallon that worked pretty well, but Iím a little more well off financially now so Iíd be interested in purchasing a good CO2 setup for this tank. Recommendations? Also what should I do fertilizer wise? I was thinking of making this a dirt tank with miracle grow organic with a level of sand on top. I didnít like this setup in my old tank because eventually the dirt started showing up on top of the sand, but I donít think it will be as big of an issue since the baby tears will carpet the substrate.

Any suggestions/ info will be greatly appreciated!

Dwarf baby tears are my absolute favorite honestly the reason I got into planted tanks.
You're gonna need a good co2 system and honestly I believe you can't do better for the money then putting one together yourself. I built mine using a paintball cow tank($19) a basic regulator ($34) an adapter for the tank($10) and the bubble counter and diffuser(about $20)
If your looking for something a little more extensive:
A 5lb cylinder which will last you several months is like 50 bucks on Amazon. A good regulator will cost 30-70 dollars depends on what you want out of it really. In my experience a similarly sized system will cost well over $200.
Anything will go with baby tears really. I personally prefer using darker greens and reds with baby tears just as a contrast. But really that's all up to you.

Oh and obviously you'll need high light for them to grow well. I have a fluval plant 3.0

Is there a thread with instructions/ links for how to build that kind of CO2 system? Also, do you do any liquid fertilizers?
