Bacterial bloom please help!

I dirted and reworked my tank about a month ago, and my tank has gotten crazy cloudy. It's been there for 2-3 weeks now, and I'm unsure what to do. I've done a lot of water changes, but it's not helping. Ammonia and nitrite tests are perfect and the fishes seems to be doing fine. The filter has been up constantly for the last year so I assumed the new setup would cycle quickly. Some people say I could expect the bloom to be there for months, and I'm slightly panicking. I don't know how to deal with this. I will replace my UV bulb and add more plants, but I'm not sure what else would help. Please help me =(

I think replacing your UV bulb should clear things up nicely. The key thing about a bloom like this is don't panic and do all sorts of crazy things to your system to "fix it right now". As long as the ammonia and nitrite levels are 0 and the fish and plants are not suffering, the tank might look unsightly, but the system isn't in any danger.
