Pretty new to the planted tank hobby with this being my 2nd planted tank.
- 15g, 24x12x12"
- 400L/h HOB
- 24 watt LED
- 100 watt heater
- 2-4" of organic soil topped with 1" of gravel
- Crypt. Wendtii "Tropica"
- Anubias sp.
- Hygrophila Difformis
- Eleocharis sp. "Belem"
- Hygrophila Pinnatifida
- Bacopa Caroliniana
As of this posting, the tank has been planted for 22 days.
Overall the plants seems to be doing well, but I have a few concerns.
1. The Hygrophila Pinnatifida has gradually lost its slight red underside from when I first got it. The older leaves are also starting to develop a lot of pin holes which I have read up to signify either a potassium deficiency. New growth seems to not have these holes as of yet. All other plants don't have pin holes. Pics attached.
2. The Vallisneria are spreading quite a few runners but the new plants/ leaves from main plant don't grow to the surface like the old original leaves do. Only about 6 inches max then they stop.
Any thought on anything that can be improved/changed to improve these 2 points?
Thanks for reading my post!
