Starting a paludarium

I acquired a 60G hexagon tank. Very tall, spacious. I'm thinking about putting a flying gecko in it but I want to have it have a waterfall in it with a small collection of water at the bottom of the waterfall, with live plants, and very pleasing aesthetics. I know this is a large first tank to tackle, but i'm willing to take my time with it. I was just wondering what the best materials, lights, and pumps have high reliability and all of that jazz. Thanks in advance
