Recommendation on how to make this better

So i rescaped my tank, took out my Texas holey rock as it just had to much places for decaying organics to sit also trapping organics under it, also thinking it was blocking flow and hendering light and possibly altering water parameters , Im getting a shipment of plants but with me not being able to grow Wisteria or water sprite successfully im looking for a more hardy tougher fast growing stem to put in the back, any recommendations on how I can achieve more on the left side of the tank without it looking bare and also a tougher fast growing stem for medium light no c02 ty
