Hi @Cambrian Creature,

I used F&S regularly until it was purchased by Petco (I try not to support 'big box' stores), it is a shame because when Petco took them over they were a great company.

They are moving their had goods inventory over to LiveAquaria, with 2 flash 25% sales in the last 4 weeks.

Used to order a lot of Drs foster and smith. Before amazon became so huge, of course. Shame I don't have a big tank to set up right now cause there are a lot of good deals. Especially, with the live stock. Order over $99 and it's free shipping too! That's pretty easy to do with a large tank and makes it a great deal. Sad to see them go but sadder that I can't take advantage of these sales. if anybody's in the NYC area and wants to go in on a group order to take advantage of the free shipping, let me know! I would love to get some amanos

I used to love getting their catalog in the mail. I've had good service from them in the past, but, to be honest, I get what I need from either Amazon or my LFS. I wonder if a lot of their customers did something similar.

When into my Petco today for the first time in over a year. The fish aquariums were totally downsized and they had about 50% less aquariums than before. Store is a normal large box store.

Too bad. They had some great deals at times. Hopefully that will continue at LiveAquaria.

BTW, right now they have the HALO Basic F80 Freshwater LED Aquarium light for $75 again.

Supposed to be another 15% off including sale and clearance items with code 4U15OFF through Sunday but I can't get it to work with anything.

I found out quite by accident. I had been searching for another glass top/lid for my aquarium and was price shopping online. I came upon Dr Fosters&Smith website and was pleased with their price and free shipping.

I put together a want list the following day and went back to their site to place my order. It was then that I noticed that the same item was $15.00 cheaper than it was the previous day !!! Their free shipping for orders over $19.00 is a great deal. Ive talked to them and their last day for online orders will be 2-2-2019. Every day I get an online coupon and today's was for 20% off everything including sale items.

Im going to hang in for a few more days hoping for more discounts as my want list is growing.

There is a Groundhog Day joke in this but I can't think of one at the moment.

That's a bummer. I used to love Fosters and Smith. Hopefully they do well folded into Live Aquaria.

Next day air shipping has been reduced to 19.99, too. There is some frozen food I just cannot find in any of my LFSs that just might make a one-time order worthwhile.
