Is this carpeting or the start of maybe?

Hey guys, thanks in advance for any replies.

This tank is 3 weeks old and I'm new to this whole arena... just wanted to know if this is the beginning of carpeting or at the very least, is my eleocharis par, multiplying? Good? Bad?

12 gallon long, Mr Aqua. Eheim 250 classic, Current Led. C02 injected. Ada power sand + aquasoil. Dosing excel. Ph 6.5. High ammonia.

Yes it is a runner. I find that it takes off once the roots are established and you cut off the top 80% of it

Oh my! Fantastic. I have always done reef tanks, but this transition to planted tanks is quite intriguing. A welcomed change, I really like it and am excited to continue this venture... also, its substantially easier on the wallet!

Thanks for the reply, Chew.
