Lake Salt Additive

Hello, seems like my plants are a bit low on some nutrients (algae is thriving on some plants like the water sprite, rotala indica). I have thought about this and saw my tub of seachem cichlid Lake salt and found that it is 10.08% potassium and for every gram contains .20 mg of Iron...could I dose some of this in my 5 gallon planted nano to have some beneficial effects?

Analysis (Amounts per 1 gram)
Calcium 3.24%
Magnesium 11.83%
Potassium (K) 10.08%
Sodium 3.53%
Aluminum .90 mg
Iodine .02 mg
Iron .20 mg

For the iron, I know it's iron sulfate (FeSO3) or Fe2(SO4)3 --> So basically Fe 2+ or Fe 3+. I know ferric is less effective than ferrous, but I dose with excel which reduces the ferric to ferrous. Thoughts?

Probably have to do massive water changes for the salt content but could help for a bit. Maybe just til you get rid of the stuff, why not use what you have on hand?
