any decent fish store will order these fish for you if they don't have them in stock. You may have to put down some or all of the cash for them as a deposit, but they should be willing to do this to earn a customer.

Is this princeton NJ? I'm near there too

If so test out www.sharkaquarium.com. They can also special order. I remember seeing a couple of Rams & Discus in the petsmart in Nassau plaza.

Also The pets plus in the Brunswick circle can special order fish into the store. I had them order me two hill stream loaches.

Good Luck.

For my Loaches, I don't think they charge me the shipping on them. But they wanted to know the scienctific name and It took about 1-2 weeks for them to get them in.

I'm going to take a trip to Aquarium center some time late Jan or early feb. You're welcome to tag along. I was in there around november, but I can't remember if they carry them too.

But it's a really cool store

I live 5 mins. from the Aquarium Center and it's worth the trip from Princeton.
This is the best LFS in So. Jersey, without a doubt. Great selection of plants BTW.
Sort of like my home away from home.

If you don't mind shipping cost and are looking for quality fish, Cary Strong at Great Lakes Discus has some amazing fish.

yeah i was looking there, and they really are beautiful, especially the red leapard snakes, pidgeon blood snakes and red pidgeon bloods. The problem is, i do mind the shipping cost, and would rather use that money on getting another fish, or going pressurized. Im not poor, but im cheap
