Hi, new member sorry if I'm in the wrong area

I don't know where to ask a question. So if it's not here could a mod please redirect it to or let me know to start a new thread else where.

I'm starting a new 10 G tank and have kitty litter first substrate, pool filter sand second layer and thinking of taking the top layer of gravel from 5 G tank for fertilizer and good stuff to help the plants.

I have a few plants to transfer and would like to know what other plants I could put in that doesn't require CO2. I still have to make one and I don't feel the urge at the moment.

I'd like the front to have a "moss" look for 35% of center in the 10G tank.

I'm placing broken clay pots I've boiled among the plants.

Thank you.

What kind of light, if any, are you using for this tank? That will impact which plants are going to work well.
