Eutrophication???

Hey guys,

I set up my 120 gallon planted tank a month ago. 2 days ago, I started to see a lot of algae and when I got home yesterday, the water was completely green. I have been dosing the recommended dose of excel everyday, potassium, iron, and flourish every three days. I have two fluval 3.0. They were set for a 2 hours of sunrise, 10 of intense light and 2 of sunset. Today I reduced 2 hours of the intense lighting. Please let me know how I could fix this.

Thank you!!

agree, no need to plumb something crazy in-line.
grab an in-tank one from a box store and let it run for a few days.

I had the smaller Green Killing Machine clear up a bloom in a 65 gallon in about a week.

Recommend that you reduce the intense light down to six hours max.
