Cidex Plus

Can anyone tell me if this is the right stuff?

http://www.amazon.com/Cidex-Plus-28-...ef=pd_sbs_bt_2

You probably would of guessed by now i want to use it as a replacement for excel.

Also since its 3.2% glut and original excel is about 1.5% i should be using about half the dose or diluting it with the same amount of water?

Another question I have is it dissolved in water?..as in will it mess with the pH and any other chemical parameters in the aquarium?

thanks

"Also contains a surfactant for easier rinsing. Suppresses odors and has a pleasant, mint scent."
This sounds like a bad idea to add to a tank...

I use the 14 day solution, and you do not add the activator.

If it contains surfectant, you DO NOT want to use this. You want straight cidex.

oops didn't read that much into the description

ok

http://www.amazon.com/14-Day-Activat...f=pd_rhf_p_t_3

Is that the stuff there? It says it contains a dialdehyde which I'm guessing is two aldehyde groups[edit](just figured glut is the dialdehyde group:P) but it only talks about alkaline glut in the description?

If that's not it can someone direct me where to get the correct product?

thanks
