40 breeder on stand for 150 gallon

would a 72"x18" AGA pine stand rated for a 150 gallon tank be able to hold a 40 gallon breeder if i put a sheet of plywood over it? i'm unsure if the plywood would eventually sag at the center of the stand where there isn't any support. the 40 breeder would be positioned at the left end of the stand so one end of the tank would be over the middle of the stand where the plywood would not have additional support from the stand's frame.

The front and back of the tank are fine, and I assume the far end is fine. I would cut a 2x4 to run across the stand, front to back, under that right edge of the tank, using metal L brackets to anchor it in place. And then I would put plywood under it.

And then I would get another tank for the other side to balance it out

hmm... that seems doable. i've got zero carpentry skills, but i should be able to screw a 2x4 in place without messing it all up. there will be another tank on the other half for sure.
