Medium Light Plants?

I'm setting up a 29-gallon planted tank. I'm using eco-complete as a substrate, an eheim classic 2213 for filtration, and a coralife single CF bulb (65w @ 6500K) for lighting. I live on Long Island, NY, where the municipal water is generally soft (plus i'm putting a decent amount of malaysian driftwood in the tank). I plan to keep two kribs as centerpiece fish w/ some type of small pleco, w/ a small school of tetras in the tank.

so that's the set-up. what plants (preferably commonly available) would be acceptable in these conditions? i know anubias, java ferns & moss and a decent amount of crypts'll be happy, but what else?

With your light and water you have a wide range of plants to choose from, but you will have to plant smart as you will likely have dark corners. Keep the more light demanding plants under the strip light and the less demanding in the corners and you should be good to go. Red temple grew just fine my 29gal with one 65w light.

Ludwigia repens grows great with 2WPG for me. Also Rotala Indica should work well.
