Black locust wood toxicity?

First off im not sure if this is the right section, forgive me if it isnt.
I know some lists of obvious safe woods exist out there. However I had trouble finding out if the actual wood from black locust trees is toxic. I read the bark is toxic but not the wood itself. Anyone here had any experience with black locust wood in their tanks? I cut up a bunch of it into miniature boards of which I plan to make a little underwater shack for my fish. I actually got the logs from work when a dead locust uprooted and fell.

I'd pass on it. It's known to be toxic to mammals. Too many safe things out there.
