(Sorry for posting again, I need to cover more than just one of my tanks
Right now I just have temporary lighting with some 60 watt LEDís over my tanks, and itís been working for the time being, but may start some algae problems soon. what lights can I get that would work the best for these tanks but would also look nice?
5 gallon #1: dwarf hairgrass (not set up yet)
ēI know it needs some co2 and medium to high light, but I canít find any light that can fit the tank and have the right wattage :/ can I use excel as a good co2 source?
5 gal #2: marimo moss balls, crypts, Christmas moss, Amazon frogbit
ēI have a light in mind that Iíve used in other tanks, so I think Iíve got this one covered.
5 gal #3: lucky bamboo, crypts, Amazon sword, Amazon frogbit
ēSame as #2
10 gal #1: vallisneria, crypts, Amazon frogbit
ēI have no idea what to get for this! Iíve found some good lights, but the wattage is only 18, would that be ok? Would I have to get 2 of those lights?
10 gal #2: Christmas moss and a couple Amazon frogbit(can you tell I like that plant?
ēI think the 18 watt light would be fine here, as the moss is close to the waters surface.
All of these tanks have a Betta and a bunch of Malaysian trumpet snails in them as well.
Should I be adding any fertilizers or co2 like Excel to the tanks?
Iíve mainly been keeping the most low tech tanks as possible, but Iím ready for something different and a bit more challenging! Being in high school is stressful, and aquascaping is my little escape from that ^^
Iíd love yíalls input and recommendations though! Thanks!
