Inline UV set up question

Just got my 18w turbo twist. Question is do I put it before or after my inline heater?

Also thought it was strange that the light on the box is white and the one in the box is clear?

I would put it after the heater. And the bulb is fine.

I put mine before the heater. Not sure that it really makes a huge difference IMO as I do not see the UV unit heating the water much, if at all.

which ever fits in your plumbing system easilly I think is best. I like it after the heater because the bottom view port you can open just incase you need to bleed air if it doesnt flow (rarely)
