I'm Not proud of it

Soooooo long story short I moved about 2 years ago, and let my new tank go to [censored][censored][censored][censored].

I had a planted low maintenance 20 long and decided to upgrade to a 40 breeder, ended up Not having enough time to take care of it. Now it's a pile of trash. I used floramax and it's just full of decaying material. Algae On everything, the few plants I transplanted are long dead. There is mineral scale all over the walls, it's a mess. Is this even worth trying to clean without a complete reset? I have the 20long still and i can set that up for now if I have to.

What should i do?

Hi yungtoolie,

I would just do a complete reset, wash/rinse the substrate well and start over...you will have less hassles in the long run.
