Fluval 15gal Sea Evo for a planted shrimp tank?

I have a Fluval 13.5 Evo and I want to set it up as a planted shrimp tank. I have had a lot of aquariums but never a planted shrimp tank. Right now the tank has:
-50w EHEIM Jager heater
-Flourite Black Sand and rock for aquascape
-Dwarf baby tears
-A Coco Petite Nana
-A Nana Golden
-4 Echinodorus Aflame
-3 Blyxa Japonica
I need help on water flow if its to strong for Shrimp and the plants, can I actually have shrimp in this tank, additional plants if needed, is the stock lighting good enough for the plants and basically any good advice you guys are willing to give

I was thinking of doing the same! post a pic of your tank so we all can enjoy it too!

As a Sw guy slowing coming over to the FW planted side of things my 1st thought would be about the lighting. more of a 10-20K look for SW. can you turn off or down the blues on that light? any reds in the mix?

I read somewhere, where they turned the flow to the side of the tank that might work. or you just might have to get a low GPH pump or put small ball or gate valve on the line to turn it down.

just some thoughts.
