Disturbing mall store...

So I was out looking for gifts for Christmas for some of my family and went to the local mall to look at the tools at Sears, and figured why not just walk through and hit up a couple other places? Well, I ended up walking past this store that I guess you could call a "foot spa" called Garra...

They had salon chairs like a regular spa, but instead of regular spa stuff they had FISH TANKS for each chair, that you put your FEET in, and let the FISH SWIM AROUND YOUR FEET.... I couldn't believe what I was seeing, it infuriated me. I didn't have my phone or I'd have taken a photo to show you guys. What is this world coming to?

EDIT: Apparently this is not a new concept, and the fish are apparently Garra rufa, or Red Garra, aka "Doctor Fish"...

I have MTS

I guess that would chase off the customers with freckles as the fish tend to attack the freckles on my legs!
As far as the fish health goes, it's probably lots better for them than using them for bait?

This is common in asia and starting to become popular in some places in America. The fish will eat parts of your feet old skin and what not. I always thought it was kinda interesting.

Using small fish sounds like it would be interesting and helpful. My experience has always been with larger fish like bream or perch who tend to get a pretty good nip going that is kind of spooky when I'm just trying to float around in the lake!
