Question Fish PooPoo

Hello everyone!

I am trying to figure out the right filter combination... i want to use a canister filter and its ment for a 20 gallon tank and I am getting a 30 Gallon but I was wondering if I could do that and then add a sponge filter and it will be ok.... I didn't know because i'm not sure of the bio load and if that would be ok with my tank....

My fish in that tank:
1x Molly
1x Platy
2x Nerite snails
2x Amano Shrimp
1x Sailfin Pleco
4x Zebra Danio

What is the make/model of the filter? That stocking list is fairly light, I would imagine you could get away just fine with using a filter rated for 20 gallons with that stocking.

Also, the sailfin plec will get huge, and produce a large bioload in time.
