Seachem Equilibrium Sealed Bottle??

Ordered from Amazon, I opened the mail pouch and the powder was everywhere because the cap was open.

There was no external seal, no internal seal. I can't remember if this is supposed to be sealed.

Also, the chances of the bottle coming unscrewed in the mail, almost ZERO. I cant think of anything other than sabotage by amazon employee.

Can't use this because it could be tainted. For all I know its a return that was filled with cement.

Mine did not come with a seal, and if you hit the cap in the right way the top can pop off, I did that on accident once and made a huge mess. It is very doubtful that someone sabotaged it but return because your product is wasted. Either buy it in store somewhere or try ordering it again but be sure to give packaging feedback to Amazon and not just a review as that doesn't help them correct packing issues.

I prefer the employee sabotage idea. It's much more plausible

If you do a little reading, you will find that Amazon has abusive work environment in their warehouses that would make even sane people crack.

They put a GPS type device on every employee and track their movement and times between fulfilling orders. When you start you have a certain expectation of orders/hour, but they keep ramping it up and after a while even dedicated employees who aren't in their prime early years can't complete the mileage. I remember reading they walked around ten miles a day. Every day.

There is high turnover and I don't doubt that employees who are having trouble meeting their targets might engage in some stress relief.

I've been a Prime member for past five years but I have received a number of items that were returns. A five pack of watch batteries where there were only three batteries. ( Did warehouse employee tear two of the batteries off, or was it a return that was repackaged?) A pack of underwear that had obviously been opened and tried on. (!) Numerous electronic items that looked like returns.

Not to mention they have abusive (illegal?) pricing practices where they sell below cost to drive competition out of business. I've cancelled my Prime membership and will be ordering elsewhere.
