Odd tank sizes and stands

So browsing at a LFS recently, so I a very oddball shaped tank. It was called a 60 gallon and it was made by Seapora. The dimensions of it are 48x15x16. Pretty cool tank if you ask me. Decent alternative to a 75 perhaps?

I was wondering, how the heck would you pick a stand for such a tank? Could you just use a regular 75 stand possibly?

One thing I don't like about this tank however... It has a piece of glass glued to the middle of the tank. Idk if this is the center brace or what?

33 Long that was also there that I liked

The best way to fit odd sized tanks is to build your own stand. I donít trust manufactured aquarium stands so I build my own out of 2x4ís (frame), 1/4Ē plywood (skin), and at least 1/2Ē plywood (top). Level the stand (the part that touches the floor) with door shims once you have your empty tank on the stand, when itís half full, then check level again once tank is at desired water level. Use a hammer to tap the shims level.

Just google ď2x4 aquarium standĒ for plans and execution. Itís super easy if you have a drill and even just a handheld jigsaw. You donít need contractor grade to tools to build an aquarium stand. You could even borrow the help from a friend.

Iím sure others will chime in with other suggestions but thatís how I do it.
