Drop checker and CO2 levels

I have a 30 gallon planted tank. The ph is 7.8 and the kh is 8. The drop checker solution is still blue even though my pressurized co2 system is set at 1-2 bubbles per second through an atomic diffuser. The diffuser attaches to the front glass panel where the bubbles get pushed down by the water from the filter comes down. There is a nice mist. What would increase my CO2 saturation?

How long is your drop checker solution staying blue? They are quite slow to react to changes in CO2 levels.

You could try increasing the CO2 slightly.

It hasn't changed color yet.

You used a 4 dkH reference solution?

Yes, it's a standard solution. I'm going to increase the bps and see where things go. I read on another forum that if you have high KH and ph you need a lot of Co2. They say every tank is different. Thanks again for asking!

Just be sure to do it slowly and to be around to monitor any changes. If you notice any fish gasping, I would immediately dial back the CO2 and perhaps stick in an airstone attached to an airpump (if you have one)
