I know that they recently opened up their site to us Canadians.
prices are still in USD though.
I know several people online that use them for all kinds of pet related products. their prices look awesome if you are in the states. (you don't have a location set) if you are in Canada then convert the prices to CAD to get the real price, which is still pretty good!

If you buy *anything* from them and it arrives damaged they demand you ship it back to them (at your cost of course) before they will send you a replacement for your purchase.

If your item arrives in good order they are a good company to work with, would I use them again? Not a chance.

I ordered an impeller (I think it was $35 including shipping) and it arrived broken. I called them immediately and offered to email them a picture of the broken impeller still in its unopened plastic bag.

No, that's not good enough we have to have the broken item back in our facility before we can send you out a new one. So I explain I have a 150 gallon tank that is limping along on one filter ( I was kinda hoping she might be a fish lover and have a little mercy) and I need the impeller or my fish could die, her response was "oh wow, this is not your lucky day huh"? The Scottish Berserker does not lie far beneath this bright and shiny veneer so as you can imagine the air became more than a little blue when I heard *click, dial tone*.

Well, I don't actually like it.

I did buy an airstone from them that was broken. I don't remember what happend to it. I think I opted not to return and it got lost somewhere.

If it was amazon, they would print you a return shipping label and send another.

Next co. that you have the same experience with (yes there will be a next) ask about cross- shipping..
Send one out w/ a hold on your card for it till the other one comes back..Then cancel
Asking about it might even get you a better response or a manager...
F&S is in my state and am quite familiar w/ them. Certainly not as "corporate" as you think..
No excuse for poor service though..
