New tank Recs

I just bought a 70 gallon rectangular tank an would like to start a planted tank. I would like to use fluorite black as my planting substrate and a canister filter to provide my filtration. Can you recommend a led light that can grow most any plant well?

My recommendation is to save your money by not buying the Flourite. Go with blasting abrasive, it's super cheap and you can achieve the same results as the "planted substrates".

Just a noob

I agree with Nlewis. Just add some osmocote plus under the substrate.

What do you think would be good for lighting? I had Ecotech Radions for my reef tank. It seem like they would be overkill for a planted tank. if is 48 " long
