Breeding agression question

Two of my Keyholes paired off and laid eggs the other day. Woo.
The other 4 little males are now terrorized by the pair. If I just remove the eggs (not really wanting fry) will everything return to normal, behavior-wise?

It depends, but removing the eggs can be a problem too. The parents will just lay another batch in a week or two. Also, it's not unknown for cichlid parents to get into a major battle over "who lost the eggs".

I think your going to have to remove either your mated pair or the other 4 males.

Thanks! I have another tank I can put them in until I decide who is getting the boot.

Interesting that they can play the "blame game" too. I removed the eggs since they turned solid white, which I took to mean they were infertile.
