driftwood

ive just found some nice dead branches and ive got them soaking in the bathtub. how long does it usually take for them to be safe to put in the aquarium?

first you need to boil them for a few hours and then add them in the tank

there was no way i could have boiled the wood some of the pieces are 4ft long. i filled the tub with only hot water though, too hot to touch. is that good enough?

With pieces that big, you could try 1:20 bleach to water and be sure to use double or triple the dechlorinator when you rinse it.
