Need Direction

I'm looking to get a new aquarium and what to know which brand or company makes a good tank. I need to replace my old 50 gal. with the same dimensions and was also thinking of going with acrylic but glass is not out of the question. Please give me your input and thanks.

Acrylic vs Glass... I can move a 50 gal glass tank pretty easily. Much bigger than 50 gals and a glass tank is too big to muscle around by myself. I had a 110G tall tank with 1/2" glass and it was a bear to move even with help. If I ever did a big tank again I think I would go acrylic, for a 50 gal I think I would just stick with glass.

A friend has a "Glass Cages" aquarium and she is very pleased with the company.

I checked out glass cages and think I might lean towards an acrylic 48" x 12 3/4" x 17" still not sure because of price, it is about 220.00 more than a glass tank. Thanks for your input Oughtsix.
