Fern,Moss,Riccia,Glosso

I'm planning to set the 4 plants on my aquarium...

My question is how to attach
1.fern(should I replace the black root or just attach it to the rock)
2.Moss(how to ?)
3.Riccia(do I need to use hair net?)
4.Glosso(Can I attach it to the rock/wood or substrate?)

Thx

I'm assuming java fern for the first one? I just put a rubberband(you can use thread or whatever you see fit) making the rhizome come in contact with the wood, I never tried with a rock but I dont see why it can't be done.
2. Its a little more tricky, but ultimately the same, spread the moss thinly to the wood/rock, I have gotten java moss attached to both.
3. Yup, they need at least 2WPG to grow successfully, and more depending on how deep they'll be
4. substrate

re

I'm a little confussed about the fern and glosso

My fern has a lot of rhizome and black root on it... Should I replace the root first..so it only left with its rhzome or what?

And glosso how to plant it on the substrate... should I divide it first?

Thx

Not sure about the fern but here's a quick tutorial on planting Glosso. The site also has info on Riccia and some other carpet plants.

The computer allows you to make mistakes faster than any other invention, with the possible exception of handguns and tequila.

What do you mean by replacing the root?

If it is a Java fern you tie the roots/rhizome around wood or rock with some string.

He who angers you, controls you!
