Cloudy water problem
Shrimp tank with snails. Minimal bioload. Been setup for about two months now. Recently the a c unit in our house broke so the temperatures have sky rocketed. Even before that the tank was cloudy for an unknown reason. Water changes do not seem to be helping and I was doing 30% water changes twice a week. Gets slightly clearer but returns to cloudy tank after a couple hours.

Full tank shot? Looks like greenwater from what I can see but can't say for sure from that pic. Water parameters and lighting etc.?

Yup green water... what is your lighting, photoperiod, Co2 and water parameters? A UV sterilizer will clear this up in a day or 2. If you can get other info there are other ways that take a little more time to clear it up.

6hrs led lighting pressurized co2 and minimal nitrate. Idk about green water... irl it looks pretty cloudy like a milky color

Might be the photo... is it white milky? That would be more likely a bacterial bloom. It looks green in the photo.

I think it might be a green water problem upon close inspection. There are 3 windows right next to the aquarium but they are covered with blinds all day

How do you measure Co2? Do you have ammonia, nitrite and nitrate readings?
