Back in it again after a two year hiatus....

The 125 gallon has been empty in the living room since we moved into this house. I need to crawl underneath and support the joist before filling. Something I have been putting off doing because I hate going into the crawl space.

The 5,000 gallon koi pond has been filling my fish need.

Friday, my seven year old son came home very sad saying that other kids in his class got to bring home some guppies. My wife said it's okay we can get him some fish this weekend.

So I dust off the old 20 gallon stand today and buy a 10 gallon tank. I have a nice old hob filter and heater from before. The led lights are on order from Amazon. I figured we do something nice.

Substrate is sand from his sandbox with rocks from the ponds stream (complete with Hydra). I figured it would speed up the cycle. One Amazon sword and three guppies later we have this little fella..

I found some of my old low tech blend for ferts, as well as some excel to help get things moving. I am thinking of getting some dwarf sag to finish things up.

Going to need to go to the LFS later and get some things.

Good for man up and get under there to support the joist and get going on the big tank!! <hehe> ;-)

Tank On, Mike-
60g Marineland Community, Finnex Planted+ 24/7, Silica (pool filter) sand.
10g, 29g, & 37g fry grow out tanks, 110g stock tank.

What came first, the chicken or the egg. It was the egg, but not the egg from a chicken.
