Fish disease identification help

I have a German Blue Ram that has what looks to be several worms or possibly it's intesting hanging from it's anal cavity. I thought that it may be an intestinal parasite so i put some parasite medicine into the tank but it doesn't look to be working.

Anyone have a clue what this could be?

You need a dewormer. There are a few at the really good LFS, or your veterinarian may have something he/she can give you. Flubenzadole is a top notch dewormer.

You may want to check to see if your fish have Callamanus worms.
