where can i get NICE driftwood

Hey guys i have been lurking for awhile but you will be seeing me more often as i begin researching and designing my new planted tank. I have had aquariums for years, several freshwater and saltwater and now im getting into planted tanks. My question is, do you guys know of a site where i can get a prized driftwood centerpiece? Such as a WYSIWYG selection? I have only had luck finding generic pieces from sites such as Drs. Foster and smith, and to be honest, I would rather have something more elegant than a "log" sitting in my tank. Im really tooking for a nice piece with sever long skinny branches. Thank you all for you help, and thank you Host and moderators for keeping this great forum operating. Love the site

Search your local lake around the shore and at the bottom. lol This past weekend I went diving and found a huge stump at the bottom of the lake; which I think is what your looking for. I'll post some pics later today of it.

You can also check out manzanita bird perches at your local pet store if you don't want to deal with buying online. The hardware screws out of the perches very easily.

I just picked up some from Tom Barr. Email him (plantbrain is his user name) for what you are looking for. IMO he has some of the most AMAZING peices I've ever seen and his prices are great too. Let me know if you can't find his contact info.

Check Manzanita Burlworks (www.manzanita.com), they have a WYSIWYG for big show pieces and their prices are awsome, here is a link to the two I bought for my 210.

badcopnofishtank is another great seller on these forums, though lately, he has been a bit busy.

Tom has great pieces, I was just at his place the other day, he has one that looks like an explosion of wood.

Only thing is he doesn't ship

Beautiful. Make sure you treat any wood you find to ensure no parasites/unwanted hitchhikers are brought back to your aquarium.
