salt and plants

I added 1 tbsp of aquarium salt to a 20g tank. I have java fern, aponogeton, argentine sword, and duckweed. I read that some plant are sensitive to salt. I have done a 25% water change. Will my plants be O.K.?

Yes.

Salt kills my duckweed so just keep an eye on it. It will turn whitish and then go to the bottom of the tank and start decomposing.

Probably ok. I would do another waterchange, just in case. But why did you add salt?

The plants you have are probably OK with a little bit of salt content, but as a whole I'd keep salt out of your planted tanks.

Most fish don't need it either.

I use salt only for medicinal purposes.
