i have 7 tanks. i'll need to store about 94 gallons if i want to do all of my water changes on sunday. so i either need to change my routine severely or come up with a creative way of storing water. i dont think that any jugs are going to help me. thank you for your suggestion though

You can use rain barrels or plastic trash cans. Both can be found at your local hardware store for fairly cheap.

I use RO/DI water for top offs. Since I also have a reef system, I need the RO/DI unit anyway, so using it to top off the planted system is an easy choice.

To store RO/DI I have found the best all around container is a round Rubbermaid Brute Trash can. Just to be sure there will be no problems, season them first by filling them up with RO/DI water, then add a few handfuls of cheep "aquarium salt" (Rock salt). Add a powerhead and circulate for a day or two. Then rinse and repeat. Do this until there is no "plastic smell" coming from them.

I store my water in a 50g brute can from Rubbermaid. I'm not sure if you could link the two so when one fills up the other starts to receive the water... Shouldn't be too hard.

I just put gh booster in my tank after the wc. I find that 1tsp of gh booster on the wc day makes for a good amount of nutrients through out the week.
