C02 overdose

Tank notes-
55gallons, 2x54watt T5
Dry ferts EI

After running my co2 at noxious levels for the last few months surprisingly all my plants have been growing steadily but slowly. (all fish died from the overdose) I hooked up a bubble counter to the system and it looks like i was pushing appx. 20bps instead of about 3. I did see a little pearling during that few month period but had many plants melt from distress and unstability. Now I am back down to about 3 bps and I am wondering if it will take a month or two for the plants to readjust and get used to stable water conditions. Any advice would be very helpful. Heres a picture before a recent trim. Thanks! Jeb

IME plants can take that long or longer to adjust to such harsh conditions, and then back to more stable conditions. Give them time to "heal". A massive overdose of one element isnt always beneficial. To much / not enough is not a good thing. My guess is you stunted the growth of your plants, so it may take some time for them to recoup.

Tank looks healthy though.
