Exclamation are my T8 18000k by Power Glow to High

they have a blue spectrum that makes everything look great and I would like to keep using them even for my 55 which i'm going to try some more serious plants.

Any ways I have it for all three aquariums.

My 2 20 longs and my 55 but the light doesn't cover the whole tank for the 55.

in both of my 20 longs I have Anacharis floating is this light too strong for them?

in my other 20 I have Tropical Hornwort and an onion plant. The onion plant is turning purple black at the tops where it floats

Should I trim the onion plants top?
Will this lighting be ok for it?
it seems to be doing great except for at the top.

I planted the hornwort and it was doing great the first month. Now its turning a bit yellowish which because the tank is in the bedroom and my sleeps in the days the light isn't turned on for a full 8 hrs.

Is the light still to bright for the hornwort?
Is it because I don't have a fertilizer substrate? just liquid flourish I put in every week
Or is it because I try planting it and I read that iits best as a floating plant?

If I put it in my 55 which will soon have a co2 injector and flourish black sand fertilizer will I be able to Plant the hornwort successfully?

I also Have Madagascar lace and I'm wondering if can grow in this tank without CO2 injector and substrate fertilizer? If not I will put it in my 55.

The color temperature of the bulb is irrelevant when discussing how bright the bulb is, or how much light it produces. 18,000K means the manufacturer wants people to believe that the higher the better, but probably nothing else.
