Your opinion requested on low level planted tank

When I say low level I mean: High lights, Pressurized Co2 etc.

I have a 72 Gallon bowfront tank I want to turn into a simple low level planted tank. Nothing extravagant just really simple. The following link is where I get my idea from.

I would like opinions on what others have used to plant HC in as much detail as possible.

I plan to use Eco-Complete for the sub-straight.

I also plan to use some type of slate for the rocks but have been scouring the local stores and have just not found anything that looks right. Any ideas what type of place to search for this type of odd size raw rocks?

I don't plan to really put any other plants but HC in the tank for now and hope to get some input on how to keep the sub-straight stable. I would like it to slope but not sure if I should use inert gravel below the Eco-Complete to help build up areas or layering the Eco-complete. i have never tried to make hills in an aquarium and would like any suggestions on how to keep them from settling.

I know it may sound bland but I really don't want a tank that has tall plants. Just a simple oasis with a few rocky hills popping up here and their.

Thanks,

James
