Ground-cover plant dividers - how too?

I'd like to add dwarf hair grass or some type of ground cover to my "still learnin" tank but I want to control where it spreads to. what is a nice (works & doesn't look funky) divider to use?

I have used many types of rocks as barriers to prevent root running plants. Some plants will always find a way though. Honestly, most plants don't spread like a wild fire, so simply pulling them up if they spread to undesired areas has been effective for me. You may need some scissors to separate it from the parent plant, but honestly it a sinch

Yes it can, but not over night. Keep an eye on it and I bet you will be fine.

I have heard of small pieces of glass used to divide planted area, but i have never actually used one, or wanted to
