"SUPER LUST GREEN GROWING VERY TALL, OUTBEAT MOST MOSS!"

I have to figure out a way to work that into my next project meeting at work.

Seriously, the shrimp do seem very expensive. He's got a small fortune in seafood there, at that price.

LOL! Also,

"Weedays are only on some days."

I hear that's not good for your kidneys.

I suppose if it's important to see exactly what you're getting before purchase, avoid shipping cost & stress, and/or have no other local options available, those prices may be considered worthwhile.

yea i figured they were way to high. about the only thing i could justify were the RCS for 1$. i couldnt justify buying a shrimp for 10 bucks. or a 4x4 piece of moss for 20.

I don't see those prices as being "too high", but they aren't a typical Craigslist deal either. The shrimp look to be in very good shape, so when you figure you don't have to pay for shipping, with the losses that sometimes go with shipping, they may be well priced. The moss may be only 4 inch squares, but that would very quickly become a much bigger square of moss in your tank. Incidentally, I have no idea who the seller is, even though it is in my area.

I don't think the shrimp are a good deal at all since he's refusing to sell any females! Other than that they are beautifully colored.

I was thinking the same about the no females comment, and you never know if the pics posted are of the actual item/items.

I seen this ad myself as I'm trolling Craigslist daily out of habit. (Just grabbed a $200plus 30"4x24w T5HO Current Sundial fixture for $50 yesterday as matter of fact...lol)

All in all it's not too bad of a deal considering you get to check them out firsthand before buying and don't have to worry about shipping or DOA's. I'd seriously talk them out of some females though.

Let me know when you get settled in, and I may be interested in some as well if that's ok.

I noticed in another thread you're moving to Roseville. I'm just a little farther up 80 in the Auburn area.

Will do! Probably won't be for another month as I am going to make sure my shrimp are okay and settled before I start selling some of them. And I have to let my SSS+ Mosura breed up before selling those

Those of you in the Sacramento area can join the Sacramento Aquatic Plants Society, at the website, http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sacaquaticplant/ where some members sell shrimp every few weeks. Better prices, but I don't know anything about the quality. Once you join that group you are on the mail list and get all of the "for sale" or "free" emails.
