Filtration / water circulation

Hi guys I have a 90 gallon planted tank with: eheim 2217 and fluval 305 whats the best way to place the intakes and out takes for better water circulation?

On the side of the tank. Face the outtake towards the opposite side and your intake will be on the other corner. You can put both intake and outtake on the same side, or opposite sides.
