WOW!

I can imagine the conversation with my wife..

ME: Honey, I'd like to make a 40,000 liter aquarium that surrounds our house.

WIFE: Where would you like me to send the divorce papers?

At least he isn't Russian....

The tank looks nice! I like how its half-empty (Fine! Half-full!). Its amazing how many plants there are. I wonder if he sells any of the trimmings? One months growth could equal 50-200g tanks trimmings in one year.

i completly agree my ultimate goal is to have at least a 4'x8' viewing window and have it at least 4' deep and 4' high with a room for all the extra goodies to keep it working right

I was thinking the exact same thing. Could you imagine how long it would take him to trim everything; a couple of weeks. lol

It's an aquarium! It's a snorkeling adventure! Its... a source of food?

"There was a problem when we were asked to add 40 small Tinfoil barbs. They ended up growing to 20cm/8 long and eating nearly all the plants. We had to fish them out and replace the plants! The fish then became a BBQ meal for the housekeeper and his friends."

Awesome.

And then, once you were finished, you would have to start trimming back at the other end of the tank

Yuck. I would imagine that most aquarium fish would not be appetizing to eat...

I laughed at that too. Must be amazing to have such an awesome tank.

it's a nice fusion of a pond with sections of glass siding/window.
