I suspect foul play :squint:

And I am eying up my GBR as the main suspect.

I had 4 pygmy cory's. I now have zero. Things I do not have - 4 cory mummy's anywhere near my tank. Anything else in the tank that would have eaten them. ( 1 otto, 1 mystery snail, 5 lampeye killi's)

Should I replace the cory's with 4 more pygmy's? or try some of a larger stature.

He's going to be acquitted. Your evidence is completely circumstantial

Its because he's German isn't it? I would get more hiding places before purchasing more corys. IMHO

Dwarf cories are so small it would take no time at all to strip a carcass. How long did you have them?

And how can you be absolutely positive they aren't still hiding someplace in the tank? IME they love getting underneath driftwood and rocks...

Good lord. I wake up this morning and I found all four swimming around. I almost tore the tank apart looking for them last night.

My CPOs disappear for Weeks. At $20 each I used to get upset but now I just let it ride on faith in good husbandry practices.

I put 12 otos in my tank and didn't see more than 6 at a time for a year. One night they all appeared, couldn't believe it. Could see them all for another year then they started dying off.

I have a cory with a curved pectoral fin who is quite the character. He is good at swimming upside down at the surface to get floating food. Yesterday I caught him napping on the job, on his side snoozing away. Too scary for me, I woke him up and off he went.

kaldurak, I hope that is all it is.

My rainbows have taken into hiding lately

I can almost always see all my dainty corys and otos...
