new tank syndrome
90% of plants are DHG plugs. Lots of melt as plants adjust to new params. Plants doing great, but melt is causing so much excess nutrients I have to do 25% WC every day to keep nitrate and phosphate stable.
I was wondering if I should get some Amano shrimp to help eat the decaying matter. This may reduce a bit of the nutrient release into the water, and help clean up the look of things?
Perhaps 4 of them? (20 gallon long)
(because the decaying bits are individual hair grass strands, there is no practical means of removing them)
