Glueing lava rock

Is there anything toxic to fish when using regular glue sticks. I want to build my own lava rock features out of small pieces for my fish to explore.

I wouldn't worry too much about using it. I have used it before. Most are labeled non-toxic as that is a "selling" feature. Don't get any with the glitter in them. I had alot of problems with the glue letting one rock or the other loose from the bond and a I got frustrated with using it. Aquarium safe silicon is another option. Stainless steel screws and bolts are good for driftwood and super glue works really well attaching plants.

Did they let loose before or after putting them in tank/water?

Both. Mostly after putting them in the water.

The glue from a glue gun, 100% silicone, or Loctite super glue gel are all good choices.

Tank On, Mike-
60g Marineland Community, Finnex Planted+ 24/7, Silica (pool filter) sand.
10g, 29g, & 37g fry grow out tanks, 110g stock tank.

What came first, the chicken or the egg. It was the egg, but not the egg from a chicken.

I've read on other post that silicon may have too much play or give. Is that only because they didn't let it cure totally or is that they way it just is.
