Scratches inside the fish tank

One of my tanks has some pretty bad scratches inside of it. I was just wondering is there anything I can do about that? Possibly to make them not as noticeable?

How large a tank are we talking about?

Hoe deep are the scratches?

If it's a small tank, your best option is to just replace the tank. If it's a larger, but more or less a standard tank, see if you can turn it around so the scratches are in the back.

It is possible to buff out very fine scratches, but it'd a massive, messy job. Basically, if you can feel the scratch, or a fingernail catches on it, the scratch is too deep to buff out.

Cerium oxide.

Google search videos for:
cerium oxide aquarium

It is a powder that does not mix well with water that will get buffed like pancake batter on your glass.

As mentioned, cerium oxide will work, but for deep scratches (anything that catches your fingernail), it will not be worth the effort.
