Anemone Like Creature

I have a 15 G Shrimp tank with some plants. Last night I notice some anemonie like things/creatures on attached to the aquarium glass. It seems to sometimes retract it's tentacles. I wiped them off last night thinking that it was algea, but this morning there were some in the same place I wiped them off. It's weird. What is it?

Thanks Mark! Yes, it looks like that. Do you know how to get rid of it? Or is it harmful?

Theres a few ways to get rid of them:

Spot treating with hydrogen peroxide also seem sot work.

1) Stop overfeeding: This in itself will starve them to death. Without correcting this issue first, you will have more problems down the line.
2) Once you have stopped overfeeding, you can treat your tank with fenbendazole (Safe-Guard De-Wormer)

Hydras can cause issues for baby shrimp.
